Job Overview:

Reports to: Construction Manager Reports to start: None Summary: Responsible for quality control and compliance with construction standards on various projects including but not limited to water infrastructure and wastewater treatment facilities. Evaluate work against blueprints and schematics. Collect data, monitor and report on progress using your interactive, documentation and construction management skills. Involves: • Performing on-site inspections and determining if work is in accordance with contract documents. • Interacting in a professional manner with contractors, clients, engineers and sometimes property owners. • Attending project related job meetings (e.g., job C progress conferences C pre-construction meetings). • Writing reports on operations’ measurements and installed qualities. • Responding to project emergencies when asked of the Project Manager, if needed. • Complying with safety policies and rules • Reviewing applications for payment with Contractors in accordance with established procedures for proper submission and make any recommendations, if needed, before forwarding it on the Project Manager. Qualifications: Ability to perform all the duties listed above in a professional manner. Previous relevant experience in water infrastructure inspections; could include being an Operator at an Authority, Engineering Firm, in water treatment environments, etc. NOTE: If we don't see relevant experience to what is listed on your resume, we will not know that you have it and will not contact you.
